Dreams Really Do Come True! A List of the Best Disney Attractions

MagicGuides says that 250,000 people visit Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom every day! They also add that over 58 million people visit all four parks in one year! Magic Kingdom was the leader of the board with the highest attendance.

That’s right, Magic Kingdom outranked Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.

Is that to say that Magic Kingdom has the best Disney attractions?

Why pick one when we can like all? We want to offer you a well-rounded view of what the four main Disney World parks have to offer you and your family.

Keep reading to uncover the best Disney Attractions and interesting tidbits!

Best Disney Attractions Starting With the Magic Kingdom

Home to Cinderella’s beautiful and monumental castle! Magic Kingdom has opened its gates for guests since October 1st, 1971.

There are six lands within the park:

  • Adventureland
  • Fantasyland
  • Frontierland
  • Liberty Square
  • Main Street U.S.A
  • Tomorrowland

One of the most historical attractions at Magic Kingdom is the: “Carousel of Progress.” The show is a sit-down theater that rotates like a carousel. Its home is in Tomorrowland.

As the scenes unfold, audience members learn more about technological advances. The most notable feature of the ride is the catchy tune. It plays at every scene transition—“There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.”

Another pick of the best Disney World attractions is: “The Walt Disney World Railroad.” It is no secret that Walt Disney was in love with trains and railways. The Railroad begins on Main Street U.S.A.

It is a hallmark feature of Magic Kingdom and Walt’s love of track transportation. At the front of the park, you can also spot the monorail. It is not an attraction, but still an amazing railway.

It departs from Magic Kingdom and travels to different locations. Some include the Contemporary Resort, EPCOT, and Grand Floridan Resort. Book a night at the Contemporary or Grand Floridan with the new points chart for DVC!

Another Magic Kingdom must-see is the Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square. This slow-moving creepy journey is both scary and delightful. Surround yourself with rising walls or sinking rooms. Enjoy the view of hundreds of ghosts dancing in a ballroom!

Animal Kingdom

Are you looking for a bit of wildlife adventure? Try the Animal Kingdom and its plethora of outdoor adventures!

As of 2017, park guests are now able to experience the incredible and exotic world of Pandora!

Avatar’s Flight of Passage welcomes park guests aboard a thrilling ride. You have the chance to bond with your very own mountain banshee!

Not up for a thrill? No worries! Take it easy and drift through a gentle ride down the Na’vi River. Take a boat through a vivid and colorful bioluminescent rainforest.

If neither ride sounds appealing, that’s no problem! There are plenty of locations to soak up the scenery.

Snap a picture at the Valley of Mo’ara! Capture the gorgeous floating mountains while drinking a delicious Night Blossom beverage.

Animal Kingdom offers rides for all and introduces you to parts of the wild you could only dream of before.

Hollywood Studios

“Luke, I am your father!” (insert heavy breathing here….) Well…we’ll leave it to the experts.

Immerse yourself in a whole new world at  Star Wars: Galaxy Edge in Hollywood Studios. One of our top recommendations for the best Disney attractions is: “Rise of the Resistance!”

That’s right! You’ll be joining the resistance, but not on a magic carpet.

Fight against the First Order and make your big escape. This attraction is not one to miss!

Keep the thrill going with: “Slinky Dog Dah” or “Mickey or Minnie’s Runaway Railway!” Both newer constructions offer fun and excitement for all ages.

Go big or go home, and lose your Goofy hat on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! You hop aboard a speeding car to make it to an Aerosmith concert.

In for more terror? Take a trip through the Twilight Zone in the Tower of Terror. Still, have your hat? You’ll want to hold on to it for the big drop!

Then, finish the evening with some hidden Mickey hunting

EPCOT

And last but not least—EPCOT.

The first thing you’ll see when arriving at the park is the “big ball” as most refer to it. It’s a ride called: “Spaceship Earth.” Visit human history and journey to our future in one single trip!

Want something with a little more spice? Strap in the “Test Track” where you become a real-life test-driving dummy! You’ll make sudden stops, turns, and zoom over bumpy terrain.

When you’re done, head next door to one of the most popular rides in the park: “Soarin’ Around the World”! This adventure is one-of-a-kind. See the world as you soar through the skies of the world for a final landing at the happiest place on Earth!

Have kiddos in need of a fun but gentler ride? Visit “Frozen Ever After,” a log flume ride. Travel through the excitement that Arendelle offers with a little sprinkle of water. Extend your water adventures and visit: “The Seas with Nemo and Friends!”

Also, don’t miss out on EPCOT’s amazing Food and Wine festival! You’ll have the chance to taste the world! Collect limited edition souvenirs as you enjoy live music and yummy treats.
