NZ tour to PAK, Pitch report, playing XI, Injury update

New Zealand is going to tour Pakistan after a huge gap and it is going to be an extremely good series which the Pakistani fans will be looking to enjoy in the coming days. Pakistan has missed cricket for a good decade or so but have recently seen a return. The return means that Pakistan will also have a chance to showcase their best in home conditions. Home conditions have suited Pakistan off late and that is definitely something that will be benefit them gaining experience towards the World T20 which will have conditions similar to what they have seen lately. Here’s some free cricket betting tips with respect to the pitch report and the injury reports coming out of the series.

Pitch Report

The games are going to be played in the two central locations in Pakistan. The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore is going to host the T20s while the ODIs are going to take place in the Rawalpindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. Both the pitches are going to be relatively flat and there isn’t going to be much help for either the spinners or the faster bowlers from the wicket. The scores in the recent series have been in excess of the 150 mark very comfortably in the T20s and the 280 runs mark in the ODIs. This is going to be no different with the kind of players on display right here. The ball does reverse swing a bit for the Pakistan Seamers and we have seen them historically exploiting this really well. This series will also be good opportunity for the seamers to figure out their best combination and it is likely that the pitches might take a little turn to acclimatize their players for the T20 world cup.

Injury Report

The biggest blow to the New Zealand team is going to be the unavailability of their captain Kane Williamson who is going to be playing in the IPL for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, Tom Latham has really stepped his game up lately and been captaining the team really well. The New Zealand team is also going to miss the services of their ace fast bowler Trent Boult who will be in the Mumbai Indians camp. These are both body blows for New Zealand when it comes to this series but is definitely going to prepare both their senior players for the coming World T20 which is going to be held in UAE where the IPL is going to be held too.

Playing XI

The playing XI for the Pakistan team is going to consist of a lot of allrounders who are the key to their success in the World T20. They will be full of confidence with the form of Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam who are doing really well overall. They also have in their rank players like Shadab Khan and Mohammed Rizwan who have stepped up to the plate and become stalwarts for their team.

New Zealand on the other hand promise to be as competitive as they were against the Bangladesh team where they almost took the Bangladeshis to the limit in a tough T20 series. Ajaz Patel was the key for them there and it is expected that he is going to be another factor here. He is going to bank on guys like Henry Nicholas and Tom Latham to get the runs. Colin de Grandhomme maybe a big player for them too as he can contribute with both bat and ball in the closing stages of the innings as a hard hitter and some overs in the middle.
